Jello Pudding Pops Recipe

Whatever Happened To Delicious Frozen Pudding Pops From The 80s ?! Are 1980s Bill Cosby Style Pudding Pops Still Made Anymore? Even though they were greatly adored by many, the original Jello pudding pops are no longer available for buying. In the mid-1980's decade, consumers were buying over $300 million of these outstanding creamy pudding pop popsicles a year! Sadly, they were discontinued in the early 1990s and the reason reason pudding pops were discontinued was because they were no longer being profitable by the 1990s because of other icecream and popsicles competition. HOWEVER, the good news is, I have the best ever recipe for making homemade pudding pops from scratch. DO PUDDING POPS STILL EXIST > YESSSSS THEY SURE DO!!!!! Since chocolate and vanilla were such overwhelming favorites, I will share recipes for these two flavors.

Ingredients For Pudding Pops

2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 (3.5 ounce) package chocolate or vanilla instant pudding mix

1/2 cup white granulated sugar

Easy Pudding Pops Instructions

Beat the whole milk, evaporated milk, instant pudding, and sugar in a bowl until combined thoroughly. Pour into ice pop molds and freeze until firm, about 4 hours until frozen hard as popsicles.

Still, I love chocolate and vanilla products, they are my favorites. I could try the taste of Jello Pudding Pops, and maybe.. I could be satisfied too.

Jello Pudding Pops are a great desert family choice because when they taste it, they just eat it all.

I wish that I could try it and notice the difference from the Pudding Pops made today.

So very delicious, so simple quick and everyone loves them! I followed this recipe exactly as written and it is great, but next time I may reduce the sugar a bit just to see if it would be as awesome and may save a few calories. I will definitely make this again. Everyone has asked if I'd make these for Thanksgiving dessert and of course I said YES! They are THAT good!

Perfect recipe!! I didn’t have chocolate pudding on hand so used vanilla and otherwise followed the directions exactly. They turned out great! I’m guessing any instant flavor pudding would work. This recipe is the closest thing I've found to the real deal! I've made these dozens of times. It's amazing as written, but an impromptu substitution when I confused sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk (and omitting the added sugar to compensate for the added sweetness) came out super creamy, rich, and smooth!

I will put 2 1/2 cups whole milk because I enjoy milk a lot, and a 1 1/2 cup white granulated sugar to make it more sweet. That's the way I will prepare my own Jello Pudding Pops.
