Abandoned Oregon State Hospital Forgotten Copper Urns of the Dead Photo

These things or places are proof of the past that still stands like saying "look at me, I'm not as crazy as you thought".
The abandoned condemned wing of the Oregon State Hospital in Salem, also known as the Oregon State Insane Asylum, was built in 1883. The 1975 movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was filmed here, & soon afterwards began falling into deep disrepair & suffered from neglect. Recently some VERY old corroding copper urns of the forgotten dead were found near the deteriorating crematorium (see photo). Each canister contained cremated patients & have since been placed in sealed black boxes, health officials are considering a memorial & burial ground soon. Cannot get much creepier than abandoned morgues where decaying autopsy tables, embalming fluids & 3,489 dead patients still remained, unclaimed & forgotten. I remember hearing this on the news when the copper urns were found, scary stuff!
