Blessings are funny things. Sometimes you're wishing or hoping for them, and sometimes they hit you square in the face. I'm going to let someone else make the formal announcement, but I'll say this. I no longer need a Tony, an Emmy, an Oscar, a Grammy, a Bafta, or any of those things.

You are allowed to walk away from people who make you feel less than and small. You are allowed to choose your happiness and your mental health above any relationship in your life. Just a gentle reminder that sometimes being selfish is necessary.

I often hear people say Ellon Musk, Bill Gates, and many others are great because they are that successful despite of their condition. But I say they are successful because of their condition. I do see that describing aspergians as gifted isn't just for the political correctness sake. It is real. And whatever they bring to the table is something that valuable far beyond all of evaluation criterions and models.
