Somebody just mis-texted me. The text said Hey Gina do you still want to go fishing? I replied that I’m not Gina and fishing is cruelty. I told them that fish feel pain, too.. They prob weren’t e😜ecting that!

My testimony is such a loud one. I am grateful to be alive to e😜erience the fruit of my labor and pass on what I have learned in healing myself to others going through the same thing.

Recently I had had an extreme reaction to an event that was out of character for me based off how I typically respond to things. It was 100% rooted in emotion and not a way I would typically act. It has been stuck on my mind heavily and I keep asking myself why did I act like that. It just keeps playing in my mind like “girl, you know we don’t do that”. It bothered me that I allowed somebody to take me out of my character. I Picked up this book yesterday that had been sitting on my shelf for months untouched. It was exactly what I needed to hear to stop dragging myself the way I’ve been doing. Too often I do bury how I truly feel about a situation in the name of taking a ‘high road’. I have failed to see how necessary it was to embrace these feelings and reactions. I think it funny how the right things come to you when you actually need them.
