I'm having a Usborne online party October 18th ending the 25th in case of shipping delays for Christmas gifts if either of you need books message me and I'll add you (or any of you ladies for that matter).

My kids loved In a People House by Dr. Seuss. I read it so many times I know it by heart.
Another good one is I Love You Little One

These are good books! I used them in library storytimes and let the kids make their own versions of the book with various textured items afterwards.

Faith McBrayer, aren’t they great! It’s like the children relate to them so easily as well as the texture working so well for very young ones! I’ve got a lot in my loft and I’m sure that if I got them out, my 18 and 16 year old girls would actually squeal with delight at the memory of them!.

My son’s favorite when he was younger (he’s 12 now) that I didn’t get sick of reading, was . Reinforces how a parent’s love is unconditional in a cute way.

Those Osborne books made my girls laugh so hard! They are so touchy feely and perfect from birth even! I rate them so highly for fun story time from a very very young age! Such a lot of pleasure in those ones!

Love that book just found it for my 2 year old Grandbabe!!! It’s such a great book!!
I also vote for or There's a Monster At the End of This Book.

I love both of these but I prefer the book named Love You Forever Book by Robert Munsch. It was my mom's favorite book to read to us when I was a kid. I highly recommend it 

read it to your children and the baby.

My sister always buy a Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales for baby showers. I remember my mom reading them to me, so they hold a special place in my heart. She buys really pretty ones and leave a note on the inside.

Touch and feel books or peek a boo books were big hits with my girl when she was newborn ..Yes, babies love the touch and feel books❤️

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! I actually gifted that to my best friends new born instead of a card! I wrote everything in the inside cover.

Goodnight Moon is a classic both my kids loved.. also Llama Llama books are amazing. . We have them all and my son loved them.
 

The little engine that could, interesting story about this book, my graduation class had the valedictorian and salutatorian read this book at graduation and it was absolutely beautiful. If you give a mouse a cookie, where the sidewalk ends and up ( by the same author ), goodnight moon, corduroy, hungry caterpillar

My friend got me the most gorgeous book for my little girl when she was a baby. Its lovely to read from baby up until 3 because it rhymes and has lovely pictures. Its called i love you just the way you are. I couldn't recommend enough. 
I Love You Just The Way You Are.

A friend of mine did this and I think I gave her Charlotte's Web because growing up my Grandma read that to me about twice a year. Interspersed with the Little House on the Prarie books.

"I'll love you for ever and love you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be" by love you for always I think and the hungry little caterpillar but Robert munch books are never disappointing and Dr Seus of course.

Velveteen rabbit was on I was given when I had my kids. But Oh the Places you'll go is the the best.

Didn't even read the other comments, though I usually do. Love You Forever. Its so sweet and loving. My Momma and I still reference it together and I'm 29.

Books for when they are a little older. So fun to read aloud.
My favorite is Shel Silverstein's Where the Sidewalk Ends. Full of great, entertaining poems that will be loved for years.

I read books with sounds and with full color images, easy to follow the book stories.
