I got very lucky today and again am grateful to have rescued my sweet Basset Hound from the humane society! Another reason to adopt through a Pet Rescue... Last night, I really thought my Sadie was not going to make it through the night.. I made her an emergency appointment at the vet, going with no money of my own, I reached out to a local Basset Rescue who stepped in and they paid the vet bill in FULL- almost $500 later.. she's doing much better and resting in her favorite dog bed!
