Katie was half of a second late while coming in from the bus stop; so naturally I'm at the door looking for her. I noticed her walking by with two little kids, and my heart was full knowing that my kid is the type to walk the little ones home. I yell out: "Kate, be sure to come home after you've walked the little ones home!" She replies: "They are in my grade!" Sometimes, I forget how tall she's always been.
