      In my yoga class there was a TikTok video correlating happiness with the present moment. They have an app where they can range a demographic study of people from all genders, races, and ages- from the study they found people are less happy when they let their minds wander and are not stationed in the moment (even when thinking about something pleasant or positive!) The majority of the time we often relate mind wandering to negativity, past regrets, and anxiety so I could see this as being true.
