Fire In Brooklyn New York Today
House at a total loss and 2 firefighters injured after a massive fire in Brooklyn New York was called in at 4am today. The big blaze broke out at 9460 New York Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11208 and round 18 firefighters and EMTs arrived within 2 minutes and were met by very heavy smoke and flames all around. The house was already over half burned and the cause is still unknown. The old age and deterioration of the large home created a dangerous situation for the firefighters, and 2 of the crew were injured from falling wood. They are in stable condition, and should be released from the hospital no later than tomorrow morning. The building seemed to be under renovation, and it is undetermined if anyone was inside or if any lives were lost by home occupants and/or squatters.
