Life is all about evolution and change. In the past I have asked the question “Do you need to be a healed whole person before entering a relationship”A lot of people say that you don’t need to heal first before seeking/entering a relationship, however I feel that it’s completely necessary. I feel like a lot of people are operating out of bitterness or trauma and are not operating as their true selves which is preventing them from showing up and loving their partners correctly in the way that they deserve to be loved. It results in passing on more hurt to the next person whether it be intentional or unintentional because they set up this bar they will no longer allow themselves to pass. It turns into a chain reaction. “This person treated me like xyz , now I’m bitter and won’t fully love the next person I’m with.” The next person gets treated different, questions why this person treated them a certain way And pass it on. I noticed this just having conversations with the people around me and it became alarming on how common it is to operate in brokenness yet people continue to be out here seeking partners knowing they can’t love them at their fullest potential because they are hurt and Unhealed.
