Helen Keller is my idol. When I was seven I bought her book, "The Story of My Life" at a Weekly Reader Book Fair. When I read her story and the story of her teacher Annie Sullivan, It was then that I fully discovered that teachers have the power to change the world. Is Annie Sullivan opened up a world of darkness and silence, and Helen never allowed her physical challenges yeah challenges to stop her from from doing the things that she wanted and needed to do. I've always looked to her as a heroine when facing my own physical challenges. There is film footage of the real Helen in this clip. I think you'll find it interesting, if not fascinating.
