I started thinking about the year and said to myself dang I didn’t do anything this year BUT the plan is to always be better than the year before . 2023 My income is better , my credit is better , my offer got accepted on a house I fell in love with that I close on in February. So I guess my living situation is better. I got a dog. My whole purpose of coming home was to be more intentional about the things I want in my life. It may be boring but Its getting done. I’m typically ripping and running . Adventure after adventure (which is still part of who I am and will never leave me) But temporary pause, intentionality, is necessary. Not much fun but I still feel accomplished. Mental health … still in shambles. Lol I kidd but I’m working on it.

I’m getting an apartment that is for people with disabilities because I have ASD, can only work part time and get SSDI. One thing people have assumed is because the apartment is labeled as low income is that I will have to shop at thrift stores and shop at Walmart for every single thing. I’m very good at saving up money so I can get one or two things every now and then from Macy’s or wherever. I have a set clothing style and image is one thing that gives me a sense of belonging in the world. I prefer to save money for quality items, all of my life I have been accustomed to having brand new clothes and shoes vs. hand-me-downs. I shop clearance sales the end of every season too.
