I was today years old when I learned a lawyer and an attorney is the same thing. I always thought that attorney was just another word for lawyer. From my understanding The term “lawyer” can be used universally to refer to anyone who practices law, while “attorney” should be used more specifically when referring to someone who has been officially admitted to practice law in a particular jurisdiction. This includes personal injury attorney, divorce attorney, district attorney, etc. Sp, both attorneys and lawyers have law degrees. But only attorneys have passed the bar exam and can represent someone in court. Lawyers cannot represent in court due to not passing the bar however they can legally advise clients. Lawyers are more limited in what they can do.

Hi all, I haven't been posting much because I have been truly busy with life and stuff. I have been dealing with a minor back injury the last 5 weeks (feeling better) and then getting news of other family health issues, besides spending time with my nephews and working/worrying about finances etc. etc.. It has just been a lot. I am heading to Utah in the next couple of days to stay with my sister and family there for Christmas and will return home by next Tuesday or Wed. So I will be traveling. I may not post much since there is a lot going on atm and I did not want people to worry (I guess?). Anway, I hope everyone has safe upcoming Holidays, New Year 2024 , etc!

My physical therapy has been going well and they said I am making improvement with my ankle and control/ mobility after injury which is great news. My wife and I are going out to celebrate tonight, going to go see Oppenheimer after a nice dinner - Also for those who might not know yet, my Dad came home from the hospital om Thursday (still recovering though).
