Thunderstorms are a big deal around here now. After being in that huge hail storm last month, Baby Rae is traumatized! She gets so terrified, screams, starts shaking, heart beats fast, & has to be comforted any time she hears thunder or rain. She says “mommy!!! Rain is scary” “mommy!!! Rain cracky you car! Rain cracky daddy’s truck!” “Mommy, RoRo is scared and water come in mommys carrrr” Mommy!!!! RAIN NO NO” she knows mommys car is gone because of a storm…so if you don’t think these babies understand…indeed, they do. **also, does anyone else’s toddler start every sentence with the persons name they’re talking to lol A picture her daddy took last night!

My tree will never be “aesthetically pleasing.” My tree will always be 100% KID DECORATED. My tree will always have bundles of random ornaments on the bottom branches. I love all of the ornaments they made for me in school over the years, ornaments that they picked out, and ones we’ve collected from friends and family. Display your babies creations. Watch the joy it brings to their faces! To this day kids are like “HEY I MADE THAT!!” That means more to me than any compliments ever could.
