Why do people say "We need to talk"??? Instead of just talking? Do they purposely want you to stress out thinking about what's on their mind? Wracking your brain trying to figure out if there was something said or done that offended... Why can't people just talk instead of making a big deal out of what is probably nothing at all.

You know what is worse than being old? It is feeling useless. Feeling like you have no purpose in life. Feeling like nobody wants you or needs you. Having no reason to get up in the morning because you have no job. It's because nobody understands until they get this age. And then there's nobody around who cares.
