In deep regrets I cannot begin to describe my father's actions or words. In past months I've began to wonder where my life would be without this man by my side. He would easily tell of his thoughts on God and man. For instance if a man was a god how would he or she change the things around himelf? Voice would fill the room without even speaking, a man for few words and many actions. He believed in me and I believed in him. Whenever I was heart broken by him teasing me I often lashed out in public and private. In our final days we spoke of his near future passing, I have need to mention his great passion for genealogy. My father sought out his family tree for years. Since my brother was not able to make it I will be passing on all of our Dad's research to him whom I love dearly. Gladly I am to say Dad told me all matters prior to this event. Even in my last days his was preparing me for tomorrow. I have learned from him that hard work doesn't mean hurting yourself. His love for caring for others was to be higly commended. Jackson Bankston II, the man I call my father, conceded his life and many more. In some since he conquered much more in life than ten men put together. I feel my heart next to his as I hug him. Although I felt as I would never really lose him, I knew there would be a day for his departure to be with our almighty God in heaven above. May we all be the most blessed with His mercy He sheds light on man to grow closer to Him. Without God in ones life, leads to a path of destruction.
