So tomorrow I retire from Walmart after 20 years. I have made life long friends and consider some of them family. It's time to start a new Journey and a new job. I will still be an Optician, because that is what I love. Walmart has been good to me and I am thankful to all of Management and Associates that I have had the opportunity to work with. Way too many folks to mention. It's been a long wild ride, but I'm ready for the next adventure!

So I stuck my cat's rear in my neighbor's face today. He most definitely deserved it though lol - he was cussing me out and yelling that my black cat was their cat. Just because their cat went missing and he's a black cat too. My cat is a female black cat and she is mine and he was about to take her away! So, I stuck my cat's rear in his cruel loud yelling face and yelled back, "MY CAT HAS NO BALLS, BUCKO!". He got the message, finally.

I want to say this as respectfully as possible. The things I post are not meant to brag in any way. I post these things from a place of happiness and pride. I post things because we have worked our tails off for everything we do and have. We came from nothing and we made decisions to give our kids a better life. We had our first child at age SIXTEEN. If you’re my friend, you’ve been here long enough to see our struggles which further proves my point. Please don’t ever say “must be nice” to me. It is the most disrespectful thing as if we sit around on our hands all day waiting for things to fall into our laps. We don’t have it all, we don’t have a lot, but we PLANNED to give our kids an amazing Christmas and I can’t and won’t let anyone make me feel bad about that. I know what it’s like to have nothing - been there. I know what it’s like to struggle - again, been there. I won’t apologize for sharing the things that make me excited or make my heart swell, because we’ve worked so, so hard. Know that it’s not coming from a place of ill-intent. I am praying for everyone who is struggling in whatever way this holiday season. No one can take the joy in your heart unless you allow.
