Book Of Likes

I'm so nervous buying a house. I know it's going to be a great choice because I won't have to deal with a landlord, however it's just I'm scared of overworking my hours at my job and money will be tight. I would rather pay over $1,000 on a mortgage than rent at this point because even rent you have no utilities included. I hope to be successful and fight this.

My mom always reinforced that poor and broke were 2 very different things...it turned out the difference was attitude and perspective. Poor was a lifestyle.... Broke was temporary. Thank you Nana for helping us believe we were only broke and not poor. I love you always.

I consider myself lucky. I have some honest people in my life who care about me, a home, I get to go to school -maybe even possibly another job soon..Instead of saying why and how much my life sucks if anything, today I just feel really happy and thankful.

My neighbor knocks on my door and tells me my tires aren't safe and I need new ones. I tell him thank you and that I will get new ones when I get paid. He says no you need to replace them right now, don't worry about it. So here I am getting free new tires. And a set up to get my hood fixed.
