You literally cannot take back words once they leave your lips and those words will stick with those they hurt indefinitely. “Think before you speak” - words spoken today may become the regrets of tomorrow. I cannot wrap my mind around hatefulness or selfishness. I have gone through my own trauma over the years so I have a free pass to be a crappy person and I’m still not. Choose kindness - with your words, with your actions, with your whole heart. This world needs more of that.
